We provide comprehensive treatment for substance abuse such as alcohol, opioid misuse, prescription drug dependence, stimulants and other addiction related behaviours. Our clinicians are also trained to support individuals with co-occurring mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma.

Yes. Discovery Acres in not a medical facility and therefore does not offer medical detox. If you require medical detox you will be referred to an Addiction Specialist or Facility in your area for consultation.

As Discovery Acres is an inpatient program, it is not possible to continue work or school during your admission.
Bring comfortable clothing, toiletries, and any approved medications. When you speak with our admissions team, they’ll provide a simple packing checklist so you know exactly what to bring and what to leave at home.
Yes. Family involvement is encouraged and often transformative. We offer weekly or biweekly family scheduled visits after the initial phase of the Program. Loved ones are a huge part of your recovery journey and their involvement is encouraged.
Recovery is a lifelong journey, and we stay by your side. You’ll leave with a personalized aftercare plan, which may include outpatient services, ongoing counseling, alumni check-ins, relapse prevention strategies, and referrals to community resources.
Absolutely. Many people come to Discovery Acres after multiple attempts at sobriety. Relapse does not mean failure it means you need continued support. We’ll help you understand what led to the relapse and build a stronger foundation for long term recovery.
